We had some new friends over this evening from our new ward in Colorado. And when dinner was over we pulled out the Wii and Guitar Hero, and I got to thinking about how long it had been since we played Guitar Hero with the new baby and then a big move. Then I found these pictures, and couldn't resist!

Garden of the Gods

My dad spent last week with us being my "honey-do", and it was wonderful! He installed ceiling fans, carbon dioxide monitors, a garage door opener, new locks and latches on the tops of doors so Noah couldnt escape, numerous hooks and latches for towel and pot holders, waxed my new bakers hutch in the kitchen...I could just go on and on! But we did go out and play, too. Here are some photos from our trek to Garden of the Gods. For those of you who don't know, we spent a lot of time and holidays in Las Vegas growing up, because that is where my dads family is. And one of my favorite memories is camping at Red Rock Canyon several years, esepcially for Easter. So going to see these "red rocks" in the middle of Pikes Peak area was a ton of fun. Esepcially climbing around them and taking pictures with my kids!

Yes we are alive...

And thriving in Fountain Colorado! Just south of Colorado Springs, Jason is assigned to Fort Carson and we arrived the 1st of June. Long story short I was lost in the deep south with my family while Jason was going to school in Fort Leavenworth Kansas. Not an excuse, but definitely the reason for no post for nearly six months! The best I can do is put up a picture of my munchkins and do my best to pick up the blogging habit again here!
